Lists. Unconsciously Designed Systems
May 2022
This project showcases the vast array of ways in which data, in the form of lists, is written on paper. The beauty of the designed systems we generate without realising it, that make each list unique and interesting to observe and analyse, and consequently give an insight into how different individuals organise data.
This publication contains 300 lists, collected from 195 different individuals, that were translated from a handwritten format to a digital format, highlighting the systems each person uses when writing lists on paper.
